I find GBoard autoincorrect to be as bad as any other. I stopped using it because of that, and I’ve been on Android since 2009

I find GBoard autocorrect to be as horrendous as all the others, so it offers no tangible benefits.
You could just as easily (well, almost) copy them.in Windows.
There shouldn’t be any in-use conflict issues with files you’re trying to copy, that only happens with open files, and protected operating system files (which you shouldn’t have to copy).
I use Robocopy every few days to keep about 4TB of data in sync.
Right?
No ship that size has the controls for a small space like this.
Except, not.
Someone’s pay is getting docked for a long time 😆
And they’re not into yoga, and have half a brain
Same as it’s had throughout time
In the 90’s I worked for a printed circuit board manufacturer that used paper tape drives to load the base “OS” into their CNC machines.
Paper tape is essentially punched cards on a 1" wide paper tape on a reel-to-reel setup. I think it used an optical reader.
Those amazing eggheads figured out how to transform 3D cad drawings from their engineer’s computers into a data stream the CNC machines understood, and somehow added networking to those CNC controllers that were from the Apollo era (the paper tape systems). Wish I had the sense to take a pic with a disposable camera at the time. I don’t even know what to search for to show it.
Edit: This controller is similar to what I saw in the nineties, but looks even newer! Haha
Note the paper tape drive.
Exactly.
This number is from the set of users that have to get the latest/greatest all the time.
I still have phones from 2011. My desktop/server is 7 years old (draws 12w at idle), runs VM’s fine, does media conversion, file server, media server. My main laptop is 3. Our spare is between 5 and 7. My current phone is 3 years old, works fine.
Wow, some people are trashing a LOT of stuff.
I can’t even remember the last electronic thing I trashed. It pains me to discard electronic stuff, unless it simply no longer functions at all.
I still have phones from 2011. I’ll fire one up to use as a security camera, or a bird feeder cam, TV remote, media player, etc.
Is there a Chines phone that is as small as a Pixel 5 (or smaller?), with decent hardware/ram?
I don’t even need a great processor, just good enough. I don’t play games (other than things like Solitaire or Backgammon), but I multi-task like mad, so ram is more important than anything.
I’ve been looking at one of the Unihertz Jelly phones. I’m a bit concerned about the mediatek, but they’re well priced so it’ s not a bad gamble.
Right. Sure.
I’m guessing the photos look like this.
Yea, buy three 4TB drives, one is master, the other 2 sync from master (can mirror or use a sync tool).
Then get a cloud backup service.
So Rain Man was a vampire?
Isn’t it adjustable already? Or is that only in the versions I use (Lineage forks).
It would be nice to be able to set a default other than 50:50
Sometimes you need to work in 2 apps simultaneously. Switching is not the same at all.
Android, unlike iOS, actually runs apps simultaneously.
Using a pass code for an app/website that won’t allow copy/paste, for example. I don’t use it a lot, but occasionally it can be useful to have maps and media player going together. Or 2 mapping apps.
I have one with a big duct tape flag/handle. Stays in the phone kit with spudgers, tiny screwdrivers, etc.
Resetamatron, hahaha.
I clicked… Dammit I didn’t know I needed these.
And you never know what’s going to come from the interview.
