  • Sry i saw the reply but didn’t have time to type and forgot.

I think the biggest difference is the traditional roles we both fell into once we got used to each other.

As much as I would like this to change as our society evolves, in most relationships there’s a “top” and “bottom”, for lack of a better comparison. You can have a very fair relationship but there’s still going to be one of you who is usually the “face” of the relationship when interacting with the world and others.

With guys I was rarely in the “top” position in interactions, i took the lead when the situation was something i only had experience with or if it was with a group of my friends instead of his. I kind of prefer this because I love just getting to ride along and not have to plan or be the social one.

With women I was usually pushed to be the “top”, i don’t mind it, but most women prefer to take on that role in a relationship from my experience.

Other differences that come to mind would be:

-Men are hot, like temperature, they are always radiating so much body heat

-Men are more physical sexually feel way more comfortable initiating sex, I’ve never been uncomfortable with the guys I’ve met with tho cuz i kind of want/expect more sex earlier on in relationships from guys.

Women on the other hand, are physical romantically, they like kissing and holding hands and snuggling, but a lot of women feel uncomfortable moving from romantic to sexual. Probably because so many women are abused sexually in the US. Which puts it on me to initate most of the time.

-like every guy plays some kind of regular games, either sports or videogames, they’re more playful and competitive

Women like to watch things or read, they like hearing stories over playing games usually. I’ve met a lot of women who feel intimidated or unwelcome playing multiplayer games with men.

  • I have lived with men and women

    Having roommates is a nightmare.

You agree on a chore plan and within a month you become the only one interested in sticking to it, and you’re the bad guy for having to force them to do the shit they agreed to.

Every roomate situation i have been in has devolved into free for all where i need a mini fridge in my room where I keep my food, keep my own cookware and eatware in my own room and wash it after every use while everyone else lets the dishes and kitchen pile up with shit.

    I hate roomates

With my wife she is a lot better about doing a fair share of the chores. Probably because she gives a shit about people besides herself.

  • Disco Elysium made me feel a lot better about waking up.

At the start, you are trapped in a void, asleep, only able to communicate with your most basic unconscious functions.

Eventually you run out of dialog and realize you should probably wake up. You know, somehow, there will be great pain awaiting you, but also everything else that comes with it.

Eventually you choose to wake up, you choose to go back into the world because taking the pain with the pleasure is more interesting than staying in the void.

What will i find in this waking world? What will become of me? I gotta play to find out!
