That’s actually a bug in the current build, and it can be triggered by accident as it’s quite the bug.
Here’s a video on it: https://youtu.be/A1VDA6nJZro
I’ve started noticing that I’m echoing some of the bad habits of my father, either behaviorally or genetically, I’m not sure which. I’m determined to never go down that path because I’ve seen what it’s done to our family. I’ve made some changes that will hopefully head that off. If those don’t help, there’s always professional help.
Still, depressing to realize.
I can’t say for sure, I just grabbed it off the Internet, which has probably been poisoned by AI pictures and search results. I don’t remember exactly what the original looks like.
Yeah, weather is shifting a lot. Methane is really bad to build as any leaks (and they do leak) release gas that accelerates climate change way faster than carbon. Nuclear is a reliable source for a long time. I suspect that many of the world’s hydro dams will become less useful as things deteriorate. Perhaps some can be replaced by geothermal, or solar/wind/battery, but for places that are in geographically disadvantaged locations, nuclear is a great option.
Apparently, the large gaps in stall doors. 22ish years later, a number of places around my region are finally installing stalls and floor to ceiling walls without gaps. Making eye contact while taking a shit was always awkward AF.
Perhaps as a follow-up to this one:
Nuclear helps when you have a very bad drought and very little wind for a long time. Bad doldrums, or perhaps big fires changing wind patterns during a hot summer. Certain parts of the world may need to rethink certain forms of power generation as the climate begins to change at an accelerated pace. Our reservoirs and dams in western Canada and the western US are already below historic averages, and we’ve used hydro for decades and decades.
Nuclear is a very consistent, base load source. Expensive, but very reliable, and most importantly, cleaner and safer than coal or methane (“natural gas”) generators in the event you need to meet extraordinary demand all of a sudden.
The library getting a new wing for free and a bunch of morons parting ways with their money sounds pretty great to me, if it happened.
They can even name the new LGBT/Jewish/black history book wing in his honor from his “generous donation” to the library, lol.
Someone here recently said RFK is literally just Pestilence incarnate, and I don’t think they are wrong. The dude is the Randall Flagg of diseases. Just waiting for his actual bugchaser arc. Then he’ll plan a mass gathering and dissolve like Gravemind into deadly spores.
Yes. My meat thermometer is a fire and forget type where it automatically shuts off the heat once it reaches a certain temperature or preconfigured meat setting. It makes the air fryer a wonderful appliance when working on other foods simultaneously. Plus, I don’t have to worry about unsafe temps, or overcooked food.
The thing that still doesn’t add up is how four climbers fell all at once. If a piton breaks, and multiple pitons/nuts/etc are pulled out in a big fall, then one or two people might fall, but that’s only if ALL of your protection rips out, which would be pretty rare, especially on granite.
But somehow, all four fell simultaneously, and with only one piton connected to their rope over an estimated 200 ft pitch.
That’s really odd, particularly with climbers who are a range of ages, 30-60. They probably aren’t inexperienced.
Reminds me of the time Putin pardoned his buddy, and then his private jet mysteriously fell apart mid flight when an S400 hit it.
I think we’ll turn it around, though stuff like USAID is going to be difficult to bring back quickly. Institutions like NOAA will need to be rebuilt. There will need to be strong anti-corruption measures as well.
Dubai, most of the Middle East, China, most of the deep south in the US, and any other states or countries like Singapore with shit like beatings or the death penalty.
If Singapore ever relaxes its use of beatings and executions, I would consider going, as it has beautiful gardens and amazing green infrastructure.
That sword isn’t THAT neon green in real life, but is a very healthy new green. The fiddleheads have just leafed out :)
I’ll have to snag some pictures of ours after work :)
I love all of them :)
Thank you! We’ll have to try this when the rains really start up again.
I dunno how many people you have, but Cribbage with a group is actually a ton of fun. We would do groups of four with coworkers after work at a local pub. If we had too many people, we’d alternate groups each game.
