BPC is the real answer. You can install it natively (which for whatever reason works better for me on two news sites of the 20 I regularly read) by downgrading to a version that supports install from file and then upgrading back to latest.

The two comments stating Dark Reader are correct. Not specific to Medium but can be turned on and off per site. Great extension but sometimes causes slowdowns while loading pages on my old hardware debian laptop with little hard drive space left. Rock solid on my phone and higher specced machines.
Dark reader for FF plus Twilight for red light screen overlay on android makes for great low light/dark reading.
“There nothing wrong with being triggered but you need to work on not being a loaded gun.” Was a really nice way I heard a counselor respond to a woman who was making the same point as oop
Difference between Chrome and Firefox with extensions. It’s no wonder so many people use apps (that are mostly just web pages) instead of browsers. The web is rough these days.

I’m surprised the insurance companies allow it
Can of malort is too much malort.
I always support a boudin recommendation. My dream is to one day be able to buy it anywhere, since I’m only in Louisiana half a year or less recently. Although, I can generally find decent boudin in store all the way west to Houston (but not too far east from new Orleans), it is mostly in specialty meat stores otherwise. I’m just south of Canada right now, out west, and the local grocery has legit store made andouille so I take that as a sign my hoped for future is coming to pass.
All we can see is his haircut (he’s lined up fine), his glasses (nothing obvious) and his shirt (odd). I think it’s a jump to say a make over will do this man more good than not wearing a shirt that says “I want to have sex with the youngest woman I legally can.” Which comes off like minimum wage thinking, sort of how they’d pay you less if it were legal.
I’ll have to try boudin in mine one day, though I’m skeptical that what red beans and rice needs is ground meat and more rice.
Me neither. Good catch. Hose clamps are best on hoses.

I have the same mortgage and a property manager I talked to said my house would rent for $2300. Major American city.
WhiteOakBayou@lemmy.worldto Green Energy@slrpnk.net•Biwatt releases 4.5 kWh sodium-ion battery - Energy Storage4·15 天前They may struggle to reach price parity for a set up where space and weight aren’t limiting if you’re getting a full 5 years or whatever out of your batteries. I never did with lead acid but maybe I’d take care of them better if they ran my house!
Do you mind sharing your reason for using a battery bank to power your house? Is it solar or a backup charged by the grid?
WhiteOakBayou@lemmy.worldto Green Energy@slrpnk.net•Biwatt releases 4.5 kWh sodium-ion battery - Energy Storage4·15 天前A lot. My use case is off grid camper living. We live in a camper about 4 months a year not counting weekend trips and vacations. Lead acid batteries have to be minded and hate being discharged below 50%. The lifepo4 batteries have a super low self discharge rate, don’t need any minding and can be discharged down to 15% or 10% before they start degrading. I would need 400 Ah of leadacid batteries to equal the 200 Ah I have now.
So weight and space savings, no maintenance, harder to damage. I definitely recommend.
