some part of me still wants to believe it’s because they’re so uninformed or manipulated that they can’t accept reality; but watching them cover their ears and make fun of the people dying in the genocide during the dnc convention in this last election pushes me to accept this reality.

i’m lucky enough to live nearby a gay beach (for now at least) and it has a cafe/bar on it and all of the male patrons are topless with swim gear on. a non-op trans man wanted to join in last summer and the manager told him that he need to wear a shirt because “boobs are nudity” or leave and; being an extra large cis gay bear myself; i pointed out that my boobs were bigger (and hairier), but they didn’t require me to wear a shirt.

it made other patrons join in and the manager relented and i made a new friend that day. i’m WISH i could stay in this wonderful city; but my autistic ass has scared away all potential employers and i need to earn a living.

i wish they would persecute the soldiers who so arrogantly post their atrocities on social media; it’s disheartening to learn that they can commit monstrous depravity and then go on vacation in brazil using the money they saved on a college education or healthcare insurance thanks to my tax dollars.

it’s wild how so many are unofficially cooperating with ice, using official police equipment and personnel to do so, while maintaining a false air of neutrality (since it’s unofficial) and it’s depressing to see how well the facade works on people who don’t pay close enough attention; especially so when they publicly take pride in how their “blue city” doesn’t (officially) cooperate with the ice.

it’s wild how things got so much better for poor people in the united states when russia turned into the soviet union and depressing to learn that all it takes to prevent a repeat with china is some social media posts; a couple of news articles/stories; some tv episodes; and a movie or two.

in 2002 when my windows me computer start looping on the blue screen of death, with all of my college papers/essays/tests/assignments trapped in it.

the recovery media refused to work because i had upgraded the computer several times and i couldn’t afford the $180 windows xp cd. so i bought a linux magazine for $5 that included a copy of mandrake linux installation media and used paper printouts from my college’s computer labs to help me rescue my work from the computer.
